Band and Guard

Band and Guard exist as two organizations that are integrally connected in the fall but pursue independent activities in the winter/spring. Marching Band and Color Guard perform together for field shows at football games and at competitions in the fall. While over winter and spring, Concert Band performs indoor concerts and attend forum festivals and Winter Guard perform at their own competitions. Each organization continues to support pep rallies throughout the year. In addition to the Band and Guard, the percussion section of Marching Band also have the opportunity to compete on their own in the winter/spring season with Indoor Percussion.

 

Concert Band, Winter Guard, and Indoor Percussion offer opportunities to students to audition to join in the second semester of the school year even if they were not available in the first semester.
