Marching Band Attire

During Rehearsals

  • Comfortable Clothes

  • Nothing heavy like Jeans or bulky Jackets

  • Sneakers or Marching Shoes

Away Games, Pep Rallies, and other Casual Performances

  • Peninsula Marching Corps T-shirt (ordered through Marching Corps Uniform Purchase form)

  • Peninsula Marching Corps Band Jacket or Varsity Jacket

  • Black Pants (jeans or khakis, no holes, no rips, blackest pants you can find, no gray)

  • Black Drill Master Marching Shoes (ordered through Marching Corps Uniform Purchase form or directly from Band Shoppe)

Competition and Home Game Performances

  • Formal Field Marching Corp Uniform

  • Black Compression Shirt or travel uniform T-shirt and Compression Shorts

  • Black Mid-Calf/Crew Socks and Drill Master Marching Shoes

Concert Band Performance Attire

Option 1:  Formal all-black dress (full length to the ankle); Dress must have a least ¼ lengthsleeves. Black dress shoes (heels are ok but I recommend flats for comfort).

Option 2:  Black blouse with at least ¼ length sleeves and black dress pants or full length (to theankle) black dress skirt. Black dress socks and black dress shoes.

Option 3:  White formal shirt (can be worn with a black suit jacket or black sports coat), blackneck tie, black socks, black dress shoes

Option 4:  Black tuxedo, white formal shirt, black bow tie, black socks, black dress shoes.

Color Guard Attire

During Rehearsals

  • Attire for workshops and auditions is comfortable and form fitting

  • Closed toed athletic shoes. Athletic shoes must be able to flex enough to point feet/dance

  • Long hair should be up and secured with an elastic band. 

Competition and Home Game Performances

  • Black and Gold Uniform top for away games, football games, and pep rallies will be provided

  • Students will need their own form fitting black bottoms/leggings

  • Competition Uniform will be purchased by the students and will be selected based on show concept each season

  • Shoes should be all black athletic shoes with enough sole flex to point feet/dance comfortably

  • Black socks should be long enough to cover the ankle

  • Hair and make-up will be decided each season based on show concept

Percussion Attire

During Rehearsals

  • Percussion members follow rehearsal attire guidelines for Marching Band

Competitions

  • Competition outfits will be determined at the start of the season

  • Black Mid-Calf/Crew Socks and Marching Shoes
